Feldman Joining Richardson & Patel!

I am very excited to announce that your humble blogger has agreed to join Los Angeles-based Richardson & Patel LLP (www.richardsonpatel.com) as a partner effective October 1, 2010. I will be resident in the firm’s New York City office. I am very excited about this great opportunity and will be bringing six attorneys with me. R&P represents over 200 public companies in their LA and NY offices and affiliated offices throughout China. They also have one of the most active China practices, with more than a half dozen Chinese lawyers on staff. But even more important, they are known for thorough, quality work of the type I am used to, and are a strong mid-sized firm led by talented lawyers with great integrity. Their fees are competitive; my hourly rate will not change nor will my approach to flat fees. Below is the announcement that is being released this morning. Richardson & Patel expands New York footprint with industry notable
Los Angeles, CA (September 7, 2010). In an effort to further strengthen its corporate and securities practice and New York presence, Richardson & Patel today announced that industry powerhouse David Feldman will be joining the firm as Partner, effective Octboer 1, 2010. With the addition of David come a total of six attorneys with a commanding combination of expertise ranging from public listings to tax to digital media.
Richardson & Patel has operated in New York under the leadership of partner Kevin Friedmann for five years. Through the recent market slowdown the firm maintained its New York presence and added substantial practice areas with the addition of partners David Gordon (litigation) and Richard Liebman (real estate).
“David Feldman is remarkably well known in the corporate securities space and we are very fortunate he has agreed to join our firm,” stated Nimish Patel, Managing Partner. “As our industry continues to juggle client demands in the midst of consolidation, adding an expert like David to our firm is a huge win,” added Mr. Patel.

Mr. Feldman also leads workshops and lectures on going public, and is quoted often in industry and business publications.
