To all those who inquired, thank you. My family and I are safe following Hurricane Sandy’s pounding of New York and New Jersey. We lost power through the week in our Long Island home, but miraculously had it restored last night just before the cold arrived. Also we thankfully had no damage. Our office in Manhattan was unaffected and continues to function. Our Princeton office remains without power but the attorneys there are functioning remotely. I plan to spend this weekend looking for gas!
None of us anticipated the dramatic power of this storm. Getting through it in our home was one of the scariest nights of my life. We are so lucky to have gotten through it, but feel so horribly for so many who have lost everything. We are donating clothes and other supplies as best we can, and encourage all to do the same.
Thanks again for all your concern and good wishes. Life is fragile and we are ever more appreciative of every minute of it.
